about

I'd been fiddling a lot with Jessica Rabid's acoustic guitar and wanted to improve on my country/western/blues picking. One day, for fun, I recorded a simple riff and looped it. Then I added layer after layer until it sounded cool.Suicide (the band) had this song called 'Touch Me', which I found kinda sexy and I wanted to imitate Alan Vega's hypnotic vocals of that song. The lyrics for 'In the Name of JFC' are pretty straightforward. I wanted to make a ridiculous lusty gospel song. Merging religion and sexual 'come ons'.I used this song in my first film Affinity Point during a pivotal sex scene.
