Afterhours (Is Not An Original Song Title)

from Constant Public Humiliation (Revisited) by The Scroll

/

about

I love 80's music and it surely shows in this song. Very Human League and Gary Numan-like. I was having trouble with the vocals (I couldn't find a good melody), so I started singing this melody as a joke, which is now the hook of the song, over and over out of frustration. Then I added a harmony and pitched it to sound like The Chipmunks! For the chorus, I added guitars and noise to give it some flavor. The lyrics are about what the title says: I wanted to call the song 'afterhours', but it wasn't an original title.
